2001 Longxiang Boulevard,
Shenzhen, China
I am currently an assistant professor at School of Science Engineering and the Presidential Young Fellow of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHKSZ). I am also leading the Intelligent Healthcare & Autonomous Robotics Lab (iHEAR Lab). I was a postdoctoral fellow with CUHK T Stone Robotics Institute (CURI) and, before that, I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), in 2021. My Ph.D. and postdoctoral supervisor is Prof. Yun-Hui Liu. I obtained my B.Eng. degree from Department of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology, in 2014. I am currently also the (joint) research associate of CUHK Shenzhen Research Institute, and a member of IEEE and IEEE RAS.
My research interest includes robot autonomy systems in surgical and rehabilitation applications, robot planning and control in complex environment, learning-driven 3D perception, etc.
I am looking for prospective MPhil, PhD students and Postdocs. If you are self-motivated to conduct research in medical robotics regarding intelligent motion planning and control, AI-enabled 3D perception (better have prior experiences in robot applications and AI-driven image processing), feel free to contact me via email and drop your CV, thanks!
